The X2 Experience

A Nike Football takeover · Shoe Gallery x Nike

Miami, FL · June 16, 2026

One State. One Store.

The only dot on the
map of Florida.

When the Nike SNKRS app mapped the X2 drop, one location in the whole state got the call. Ours. A shop that has been part of this community since 1979, trusted to carry a moment this big.

People walked in and called it an honor. So did we.

Before Sunrise

It started in the dark

The line formed before the sun did. By the time we opened the doors, the block was packed shoulder to shoulder, everyone there for the same reason.

The Build

We built a world on the sidewalk

Flags up, scarves hung, banners flying. Our own Oscar pulled up at 7:30 with the crew right behind him, and we dressed the whole front so the story hit you before you ever walked in. By the time the line saw it, you knew this was different.

The Art

The walls did
the talking.

Three artists turned the space into a backdrop worth standing in front of. Picture perfect, and everybody wanted theirs.

Nico

The Murals

A Miami artist and a self-described being of light and love. Her love for the game is all over the work.

Abstrk

The Abstract

A Miami name with global reach, known for bold color and shape. He made the space feel like a gallery.

Van Shawn

The Storefront

The crate and the piece at the entrance were the first things you saw, setting the tone before anyone stepped inside.

The Collections

A piece of history.
Hung wall to wall.

G-Dragon / NOCTA / Arch / Patta / Jacquemus / Slawn / Palace

Seven collaborations, hung end to end. The designs burst off the fabric, the fits were on point, and the boots moved first and moved fast, laid out on the turf like they were meant to be played in. Because they were.

People did not just want product. They wanted to own the moment.

Inside The Gallery

Hands on everything

Customers came to touch it, try it, and walk out with it. We kept it to one pair per collection so the love spread all the way down the line instead of stopping at the front. Printed order sheets, a clean flow at the counter, hydration handled, every detail checked. That is how you move this many people and keep it smooth.

The Match

Girls versus boys.
A real battle.

We turned the street into a pitch and let it run. Two on two, full heart, no easing up. Street rules, real stakes, and a crowd that felt every touch. This is the game that brings the whole world to one block.

Big shout to our Nike EKIN, Andres Lopez, who brought the pitch and connected every dot so the games ran smooth.

The Fits

Everybody repped

From national colors to the deep cuts, the floor turned into a runway of the beautiful game.

The People

The ones who brought the soul

This one came together because the right people showed up for it. Iggy and Vice City carried the heart, twenty years deep with the shop. Marianne, the Atomic Babe (@theatomicbabe), repped Play Like A Girl and brought her whole audience to the block. We were honored to have her.

Oscar Flores directed the entire activation, Shoe Gallery through and through. He lives and breathes futbol, and his expertise is the reason it all felt real. He even gave the day its own name:

"Before 90."

A female DJ on the decks through Breaking MIA, coffee from Bonsai, burgers from Renzo, and a band to close it out under the smoke. CFS cosigned the whole thing and printed the bags out of pure love.

The Result

Shelves emptied

Patta sold out in full. G-Dragon, Arch and Jacquemus right behind it. Demand outran supply on the styles that mattered.
