Miles for a Mission

Our 3K Run/Walk for Autism

Miami, FL · Sunday, September 27, 2026

This Sunday we opened our doors for something bigger than sneakers. Together with North Miami Beach's own FloKid (@flokid88) and the NORSVP crew (@norsvp.mia), we hosted a 3K Run/Walk for Autism right here at the shop. Registration was $10 and every single dollar went to Reyna Group Homes Foundation (@reyna.homes), who care for foster kids and teens with autism here in South Florida.

Miami showed up for them in a big way!

Watches synced. Then Miami did Miami things.

Runners started pulling up before 11. Out front, Mobile Billboard Miami (@mobilebillboardmiami) had the whole lineup lit up on an LED truck, so anybody driving down 79th knew exactly where to be. Inside, watches got synced on the tennis ball rug and our friends at Piece Together set up a "Become an Autism Expert" learning table so everybody could learn a little something before the miles.

Then a quick Miami shower rolled through and left puddles all over the lot. Nobody went home!

One pack, one mission

Right on time the pack rolled out of the lot together. Runners, walkers, crews and first timers side by side, all moving for the same reason.

The Heart of It

The shirt said it all

Out on the road, one shirt summed up what this morning was about. Every step on Sunday was for the kids at Reyna and for families all over Miami.

The Finish

Medals on. Hearts full.

Back at the shop the patio turned into a finish line party. Red ribbon medals went around necks one by one while phones and cameras went up everywhere. You could feel how much this one meant to people.

Local All the Way

Fueled by the neighborhood!

Every table out there was a local business, and that's the part we love the most. Frsh Fix kept the juices on ice, So Icy Snoballs served up real fruit flavas, Meka's Plates had the flat top going, Sun & Moon Essentials brought the cold pressed sea moss and NORSVP Radio held it down on the 1s and 2s inside the shop.

Big love to Smoothie King and Faith In Me Massage & Therapeutics for rocking with us too!
