Basel on the Run: A 5K to Remember
The Art Basel 5K, hosted by Home Run NYC, Late Night Menu Crew (LNMC), Shoe Gallery, and Nike, brought Miami’s running community together in a powerful way. Despite the late-night Art Basel buzz, runners showed up early and ready to hit the pavement for a morning filled with energy, connection, and movement.
The event began with a dynamic warm-up led by Speed Tech Athletics, setting the stage for a 3-mile run through the vibrant streets of Miami’s Upper East Side. With clear blue skies overhead and a contagious sense of camaraderie, runners embraced the challenge, making the streets come alive with their energy and determination.
Post-run, the celebration was just getting started. Cienfuegos Coffee’s Mobile Ventanita kept spirits high with fresh coladas, while cold-pressed juices and pastries offered the perfect recovery fuel. Runners gathered to cool down, share stories, and soak in the positive vibes, turning the space into a hub of connection and shared accomplishments.
The momentum continued inside Shoe Gallery, where runners explored the store and celebrated the fusion of fitness, culture, and community. This wasn’t just about running—it was about creating a space for people to come together, share an experience, and leave inspired.
The Art Basel 5K showcased the power of collaboration and community spirit. Whether participants came for the run, the connections, or simply the vibes, they left with a shared sense of purpose and excitement for what’s next. This event wasn’t just a highlight of the Basel week—it was a movement that keeps the Miami running scene thriving.
