March 25th, 2023 — We took Air Max Day to the streets. Literally.

In celebration of Nike’s most iconic silhouette, the Air Max 1, we asked ourselves a key question: How can we make the youth just as excited about Air Max Day as the OG collectors?

The answer? Build something real, raw, and rooted in the city.

We teamed up with Durags and creative powerhouse Up2Something Studios to bring an unforgettable activation to life. From guerrilla wheatpaste campaigns to an in-store live screenprinting experience, this was the kind of Air Max Day the 305 deserved.

Attendees who pulled up in Air Maxes or Durags were rewarded with a free Nike-approved limited tee—a custom collab between Durags, SG, and the Swoosh. Only 100 were made. It was a moment that married fashion, culture, and heritage.

The wheatpaste wall campaign was executed across Miami, leading up to the drop with custom posters, textures, and visual storytelling straight from the creative minds at Up2Something.

The energy was wild, and the message was clear: Air Max Day isn’t just about sneakers—it’s about showing love to the city that wears them best.
