An unforgettable morning of movement, music, and momentum.

The Backstory

Through our Ciele partnership activation during Miami Marathon, we were introduced to a passionate new run crew from down south — The Herd. The energy, the unity, the vibes — it was clear from the jump that this wasn’t a one-time thing. A deeper collaboration was inevitable.

Fast forward to this summer: The Herd officially signed with HOKA, and we knew we had to celebrate the right way — by bringing them back to Shoe Gallery for an epic community run.

The Activation

  • A short film curated by The Herd set the tone and was screened pre-run inside our store
  • Live DJ performances before and after the run kept the energy flowing
  • Runners tested the all-new Clifton 10 and highly anticipated Rocket X 3 models from HOKA
  • The HOKA wall was buzzing post-run as people came back to purchase the shoes they just put to the test

The Route

We introduced The Herd to one of Miami’s best-kept running secrets — the scenic JFK Causeway. Sunrise views, breezy miles, and a perfect backdrop for a powerful pace. For many of the runners, it was their first time experiencing this route.

Community Moments

After the run, things didn’t slow down. Inside the store, runners took time to write, draw, and reflect on what running means to them. A creativity table became a collective canvas of love, motivation, and purpose.

Back outside, the tempo rose again with music, giveaways, and a dance contest that brought major Love Island energy. The community showed out, the vibes stayed high, and the gratitude was real.
