The Launch Heard Across Latin America
On October 18th, Salomon dropped one of the most anticipated Latin American collaborations to date — FEID x Salomon — and there was no better place to celebrate than Miami, FL, home to one of the most diverse Latin populations in the country.
Salomon went above and beyond for this release, turning Shoe Gallery into FERXXO FEST, complete with installations, music, food, and unforgettable moments that kept the city buzzing for weeks after.
Billboards, Buzz, and a Rooftop Sneaker
The hype started the moment the Salomon x FEID billboard went up in our neighborhood. As the only shop in South Florida with window decals for Salomon, On, and Hoka, locals immediately knew something big was coming.
A week later, things went viral when OnlyInDade posted a photo of the giant Salomon x FEID inflatable sneaker perched on our rooftop — officially marking the countdown to release day.
From Shoe Gallery to FERXXO FEST
Salomon and the event production team at Cruze Control completely transformed our space into a full-blown FERXXO FAIR experience. The synergy between teams was seamless — from the buildout to the local creative collaborations featuring Aldhair and Nick Just Chill, two Miami talents we love working with.
Camped Out by 2AM
FEID’s fans showed up early and in full force. With no crazy resale value driving the line, this was pure love. By 2AM, campers were already in place, and by noon, over 100 fans were lined up, ready to cop the $140 Salomon Pathway — a refreshing price point that left sneakerheads smiling.
Paletas, Coloring Walls, and the FEID Experience
Salomon treated everyone waiting in line to delicious paletas, cooling things down under the Miami heat.
Inside, customers were let in waves to keep things smooth and personal. Some even asked Danny (our owner) to autograph their pairs! After checkout, guests snapped green-tinted selfies at the Sharingbox Mini photo booth and customized the Salomon x FEID coloring wall — a hit with both kids and adults.
Outdoor Activations: Creativity in Motion
- Bandana & Shrinky Dink Station: A DIY corner where creativity ran wild.
- FXXOMOR Party Bus: A show-stopping centerpiece that started as a merch hub handing out tote bags and FEID LED fans — and ended as the #1 dance floor on wheels.
- Games & Raffles: From punching machine contests to sneaker giveaways, there was never a dull moment.
- Colombian Cuisine: Attendees enjoyed empanadas and oblea wafers, bringing an authentic Latin touch to the day.
- Music: Local favorite @Bozito spun classic and new-school reggaeton, keeping the vibe right until FEID’s DJ took over.
The Moment: FEID Pulls Up
By 2PM, whispers turned to screams — FEID had arrived. The crowd erupted as he hit the stage for a surprise performance that took the energy to another level. Fans rushed to show their love (a little too much love, maybe), and FEID handled it like a pro — taking selfies, signing sneakers, and showing genuine appreciation for the Miami fans who showed up for him.
He even made a quick trip to the roof to pose with his life-sized Salomon sneaker inflatable before coming back down for an encore and more autographs.
Heartfelt Moments and Humanity
One of the most moving scenes of the day came when the Salomon team noticed a young fan who knew every FEID lyric but couldn’t afford the shoes. Without hesitation, they gifted him a pair from the raffle. That kind of compassion — both from Salomon and FEID’s fans — is what made FERXXO FAIR unforgettable.
Miami: The Heartbeat of Latin America
Since the event, we’ve seen a huge spike in Latin American customers asking about Salomon. Many attendees even showed up already rocking Salomon sneakers they’d bought elsewhere — proving FEID has turned his fanbase into Salomon devotees.
And considering FEID’s real name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, this collaboration was destined for greatness.
